Spicy Food: The best recipes with chili & hot sauce
You love spicy food - but you're running out of new ideas? Then you've come to the right place. We'll show you five recipes with chili and hot sauce that are anything but boring: from breakfast to dessert, from savory to surprisingly sweet.
Spicy food
Why does it always have to be a spicy sandwich?
When it comes to chili, many people first think of their last hot sauce challenge – tears, coughing, water not helping. But spicy food can be so much more: creative, aromatic, sometimes subtle, sometimes with a bang.
Over the past few years, I've experimented a lot: What goes well with jalapeño? How do you get habanero into a dessert? And how can you use heat so that it doesn't dominate – but seduces? Here are my five favorite recipes:
☀️ Breakfast with Fire: Spicy Huevos Rancheros
- Who says breakfast has to be mild? This Mexican-inspired recipe brings sunshine, protein, and spice to your plate.
- Tortilla, tomato, jalapeño, black beans, fried egg – and a generous splash of Jalapeño & Garlic Hot Sauce.
🍤 Hot Lobster Toast
- Chili and seafood? Oh yes! This toast is the perfect brunch for people who don't compromise – neither on taste nor on spice.
- Seasoning tip: A little Spicy Allrounder Seasoning on the avocado base – and you'll be in heaven.
🍹 Spicy Margaritas
- The secret ingredient? Chili Salt on the rim of the glass! Precisely dosed, but with maximum effect.
- Our Margarita variation combines tequila, lime, and the heat of SOCHILI. Fresh, surprising, and a real conversation starter.
🍫 Vegan Brownies with a Kick
- Chili in dessert? Spicy & sweet? Works astonishingly well! Ideal as a gift – or if you want to make an impression.
- Banana, peanut butter, and cocoa with a hint of chili (available in supermarkets).
🔥 Spicy BBQ
- If you really want to impress: Smoky Chili with turkey (there are also good vegetarian alternatives now), tomatoes, adobo chili, and dark chocolate. Sounds wild – tastes amazing.
- Sauce match: Our Habanero & Mango Sauce brings fruity heat and depth.

🤝 Conclusion: Chili can do (almost) anything
Whether it's breakfast, cocktails or BBQ – chili is the common thread that makes your food more exciting. With the right ingredients, spicy food becomes an experience.
And with SOCHILI, you not only bring flavour to the plate, but also impact: Our organic sauces and spices are fairly produced – and finance solar power for families in Senegal.
Spoiler alert: Our sauces don't taste good on muesli 🥲
